Project summary
A corporate platform for a multi-branch, Asia-based retail intelligence company. Back-End features easy branch management, contact forms lead aggregation, careers module, tailor-made CRM, and multilingual blog. The main challenge included redirecting and switching map mechanisms between Google and Baidu for users located in mainland China. Google API calls from China resulted in a timeout of 9 out of 10 cases. Baidu Maps documentation is Chinese only.
